Sixth Form at DBIS
After completing their IGCSE studies, DBIS students transition into the Sixth Form to complete their educational journey with us. They are joined by a number of external students wishing to take advantage of the DBIS experience in Years 12 and 13.
Our Sixth Form students typically pursue a range of A Level qualifications. However, we also offer BTEC qualifications to broaden our students' opportunities. Students usually choose three or four subjects to study in Year 12, with most continuing with three when they enter Year 13. We encourage regular and continuous dialogue with students and parents to ensure that we provide the most suitable pathway and subject combinations for every individual student.
Our graduating cohorts have gone on to study at top universities across the globe. Universities and courses include the University of Cambridge (Psychological and Behavioural Sciences), Cornell University (Business), New York University (Biology), UC Berkeley (English), the London School of Economics (Politics, Philosophy and Economics), the University of York (Archaeology), the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Quantitative Finance), the University of Cardiff (Medicine), Ryerson (Psychology) and the University of Manchester (Law).
Our Sixth Form pathways prepare students for the academic rigours of higher education and the ever-changing challenges of the modern world.
