Take Our Virtual Tour

Welcome to our virtual tour. We hope it gives you a taste of what our great Early Years campus has to offer. This year, we hosted a special Early Years Open Day Webinar. If you would like to watch a recording of the event, please click here.

Introduction to Early Years Foundation Stage

At DBIS, our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) experience consists of FS-1 and FS-2, during which children learn at our dedicated EYFS campus.

Our programme nurtures children to develop as creative, resilient and independent learners, and our students are supported to take risks, think critically and explore through play. The entire EYFS community embraces a holistic and inclusive approach to ensure that we focus on the whole child.

This child-centred experience is underpinned by a personalised learning approach that supports the whole child's development and derives much strength from the surrounding active community. Establishing and maintaining supportive relationships is the key to our EYFS ethos, and by working together, we can ensure that all EYFS children continue to value and enjoy their time at DBIS by being sufficiently challenged and supported in their learning, thus making excellent progress in a happy and caring environment.

We pride ourselves on our child-directed, Reggio Emilia- inspired environments that support opportunities for open-ended inquiry and individualised learning experiences.

We hope these pages convey how our warm and caring environment inspires our students to be curious, ask questions and develop awe at the wonder of the world.
