Thank you to Mrs Patel for coordinating our ever successful Early Years Green Week.
Our students participated in a range of experiences that inspired them to learn about caring for our planet, Earth. Thank you to parents who came into school to share their family experiences about how they care for the environment. Our visitor, Tracey Reed from Plastic Free Seas, helped us think about how our polluted seas endanger sea-life, and how we can change that and make a difference.
We have been recycling all week, caring for the beans and flowers that we recently planted and we have been discussing our Early Years Green Promises (which will be published very soon). Our exciting ‘green walk’ to school and our delightful communal singing certainly sent a message to the community that DBIS Early Years cares about all the living things that we share our planet with.
I think there might be one more special visitor coming to Early Years this week; I wonder who?
We wish all our families a very enjoyable spring break and we look forward to hearing all about your family adventures.
