Zimbabwe’s visit to HK to play in the Netball Tri-Nations

Zimbabwe will be coming this month for the Netball Tri-Nations 16-19 March . At the moment Zimbabwe is in a poor economical state. The average wage in Zim is HK$2000 per month. The Government does not have sufficient funds for basic care, so has no funding for their National Teams. Mel Potgieter from DB Pirates is putting together "welcome" packages for the Zimbabwe players and support team and she is asking the Hong Kong Netball community to donate products for these packages.

There are 12 in the team, plus 3-4 management team, so if you donating please keep this in mind.  Items that could be donated are.... deodorant, body wash, socks, energy drinks/ rehydration salts, lip balm, water bottles, hand sanitiser, I love Hong Kong t shirts, cup instant noodles, energy/power bars, other snacks, face cloth/sweat towel, shoe laces, tea /coffee/sugar or any other useful items for use in their rooms during their stay here in Hong Kong.

DBIS donations can be dropped off at the school office by no later than Friday the 10th of March. All donations small or large are very much appreciated.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact Mel Potgieter at DB Pirates or Mim Thondan at DBIS mbl. 90644007.
